Imagine having the opportunity to go everywhere you ever wanted to go in the world, experience places you have dreamt of seeing, have the itinerary all taken of for you, do yoga with friends and meet friends who you’ll remain bonded to for years to come. This is the vision behind Breathe retreats.
In the coming months and years we’ll offer retreats to the places that we all dream about. Some retreats will be local, some regional, and some are international destinations. Every few months we will offer a retreat on our wish list of the most amazing places in the world, taught by some of our most sought after teachers. Members of Breathe are given the first opportunities to register because in most cases, these are exclusive packages and space is limited.
Seeing the world strengthens our relationship to it. It changes the way we see our own world around us. Our lives are our great work in progress and yoga retreats give us a chance to step back from being inside our busy lives to see it all in perspective, become healthier and more joyful, and apply what we learned to our lives after we come home.

Trails Within is a yoga and wellness center offering yoga, healing seminars, wellness workshops, backpacking retreats and more in the community of Graeagle, California nestled in the stunning Sierra Nevada mountains.
The practice of Vinyasa Yoga is a journey that we make one breath at a time. Vinyasa is, in its essence, a meditation in motion that teaches us how to bring ourselves to each moment, engage external and internalobstacles, love unconditionally, and live our lives fully, which at the heart of it, is why we practice yoga. As women, this practice has the power to teach us so much about ourselves. The weekend is dedicated to observing our own nature, through practice.
The five workshops contain all the elements necessary to create an inspired flow based practice that will grow with you for years to come. Blending eastern and western views of the body, asana and breath, stillness and motion, discussion and movement, we’ll address the essential ingredients that create a complete yoga practice. You will likely have to go where you have never gone before, and leave with a deeper understanding and fascination for the potential of your practice as a way of guiding you through literally every aspect of your life.
There will be time between workshops on Saturday to hike and we’ll end early on Sunday to accommodate those driving home. These workshops are ideally taken together, but can also be taken individually.

Yoga and trekking in Nepal! Join us for two weeks of yoga, trekking, and exploring Nepal. People go to Nepal to experience the greatest mountains on earth, its unique blend of Hinduism and Buddhism, its ancient architecture and beautiful temples, and to visit the birthplace of Buddha. You may also take optional side trips to visit the Taj Mahal and fly around Mt. Everest.
This trip is for students of all levels and will have an optional teacher training component for those who are already registered in the Joy of Yoga Teacher Training. The readings that accompany the trip (mandatory for teacher trainees and recommended for travelers) will help uncover the immense contribution that Buddhism has made to our yoga practice.
